Basic Guidelines
-You may only marry one bishounen; if you are caught with more than one, I may remove you from the site.
-To marry a new bishounen, you must first divorce the first one.
-If your bishounen is taken, you can become a consort (basically getting put on a waiting list).
-You must have a website/page/blog/something online to post your code.
First-Time Marriages
-Read the rules first. THE WHOLE PAGE, FAQ included. (You're doing that now.)
-Post your code on your site/page/blog. If the code is not there when I get your application, you won't be accepted.
-Fill in all areas required of the e-mail form. If you do not follow the rules for filling it out, I may not accept your application.
-If the bishounen you have applied for has been taken between the time someone else applied for him and the time I last updated, you will be notified and given a chance to change your bishounen.
Divorces
-Immediatly remove your current code from your site.
-Fill out the divorce form. If your code is still on your site when I recieve your form, I may choose not to approve you for future marriage.
Consorts
-You can only become one if your preferred bishounen is taken, and you don't mind waiting for him.
-Fill out the consort form, and you'll be placed on a waiting list.
-Once you're put on the waiting list, you will not be able to marry another bishounen. However, you can also remove yourself from this list.
-If/when your bishounen becomes avaliable, the first person on the list will be given top priority to marry him--I will notify that person by e-mail. You may still back out at this point.
-If my notification is not answered within one (1) week, I will move on to the next person on the list.
Other (FAQ)
Can I have a bishounen for each of my sites if I use a different alias for each one?
No way. One means one, period. I wouldn't have a problem with it, but I can't have one person with 20 different aliai and the same amount of bishounen...
it would suck up the avaliable bishounen too quickly, making it unfair to newer visitors.
What if the alias I want to marry as is being used by someone else?
If doesn't matter; you can have the same name as someone else.
What is the "itoshii hito" question on the marriage form for?
That's a little trick to make sure you're reading the rules. Type "gardenia" in this box, or your application will be tossed immediatly.
How do you determine the date of the marriage?
The date of marriage is just the date that I update the site with you and your bishounen first added to it.
I want to be married on a certain day... with the way you determine marriages, how can I be sure this works?
E-mail me immediatly after sending in your application, and I'll see what I can do. BUT, the date you want to be married on has to be within a reasonable amount of time, and cannot be the day you submit
you marriage application.
I have more than one site and I use the same alias for all of them. Can I post my marriage on more than one?
Yes, be my guest! Post it on all of them if you want, even if you don't use the same alias on them all. But, I'll only list one of your websites on here.
Can I marry a real-life bishounen? / Can I marry an American cartoon bishounen?
Video game characters, anime characters, and manga characters are all I used to allow. I know I used to allow jrock/jpop, but there was a lack of interest in the field, and I realized how stupid of me it
was to offer that. Also, no American bishounen are married on this site. It's just not my thing...
