Far left: A view of the SAGE building number 708 located on the north end of Avenue D. SAGE stands for Semi Automated Ground Environment. This facility was originally used for ground control of fighter interceptors. It was later used for personnel, finance, main frame, and as a precision measurement lab. This picture was taken near the intersection of Avenue B and Seventh Street.

The base gym and swimming pool, building number 641. This facility is located on the north end of Avenue A near the intersection with Fifth Street. The swimming pool was being completed as Sawyer was closing.

Hanger number 668 with hanger number 667 to the left. Hanger 668 was used as an inside wash or corrosion control facility and also for fuel repair. This photo was taken at the intersection of Fifth Street and Avenue G.
