Watch "Final" again. Daniel lead the Autobots to victory. Spike beat Scorponak, true, but the last episode, it was Daniel.
Another reason Mark isn't using them, is beacuse, Daniel hasn't been norn yet, and it's in VideoLand, not Earth.
