I don't know if you know this, but I'm a HUGE Trans-Formers Fan. I know people who have the movie and own several Trans-Formers myself (never sold 'em.) I've been watching the episode for the Machine Wars and am glad Dr. Wily got involved somehow. It's only natural, and makes a better connection in the video game world.
Mark, if I could, maybe this is mixing a few things in, but definitely, I'd like to see some of these things in there, as these are CLASSIC Trans-Formers moments:
1. Daniel becoming a Head-Master. Now maybe it's a little early in terms of Trans-Formers times, but when the Trans-Formers series closed out, it REALLY sent the Machine Wars series out with a tremendous bang: Humans and Machines together. I still have the Return of Optimus Prime still on tape.
2. StarScream: He's my absolute favorite Trans-Former and if you do any justice, after he's killed off, please bring him back before the episode's over. Have him assist in the destruction of the Decepticon plot, something to make him finally show that he's a big shot.
3. Show the death of Optimus Prime somehow, even if you have to bring him back. It'll show the low point of Videoland and everywhere else and how much the obstacles are very large.
4. Include some classic references and possibly relate them to Captain N, like Spike to Sparkplug, some of the old names, possibly the intro to the Trans-Formers (where they came from Cybertron).
If you need any help with this episode, I'm here. God, how I hate the day Trans-Formers were pulled.
