: : : : Okay, I'm going out on a limb here, but I'm asking the general viewers of this board, "Who is fed up with the arguing?!"
: : : : Now someone is going to say I'm biased towards Mark's decissions, and I'll say that right now that is not the problem. Mark and I have had intense arguments, and anyone familiar with the old #captain_n chatroom is well aware of that.
: : : : My point is this: Mark insults Chris/Chris insults Mark, back and forth, and I have a feeling this will continue for eons, and eons, and eons.
: : : : I have no problem with these two having their dispute, but it is really not becoming of a public forum. I am hereby requesting the BOTH Mark and Chris take their quarrell to a private e-mail thread.
: : : : Hopefully anyone who agrees with me is willing to respond in such a fashion.
: : : Matt, I already posted a message that if Mark will agree to it, it'll stop. However, if he just laughs in my face and says no, then it will go on. THe only thing i'll posting right now is news to RF, and commenting on Mark's rules, telling my theory on why he exempts himself from his own rules.
: : Mark exempts himself from some ofhis rules because he is the one in control of his site. If anyone sees an episode with permanent changes, they'll know it's him, and they'll change their episodes to suit the changed timeline.
: : Chris, the reason why I also say this is because for me, I need to think about future plans for my continuation of my series. The reason why Mark doesn't want us to make permanent changes is so that there is no continuity, and so if there are permanent changes, he can rearrange the episodes to go before or after the changes. Even I don't understand, but it makes sense for the author of the site to make permanent changes, so that he or she is able to implement plans for the serie's future.
: If you read my rules, Cynthia, you'll notice that I don't exempt myself from my own rules. the reason is, if other people have to follow the rules, then so should the person who wrote them. I give myself limited expemtion, and that's to bring the characters to the way they were in the movie, not to say, make Megaman gay, or something that would completely change the characters's estabilished personality.
Sorry about that.
