I recieved this mailing from Scott Conrad VanderWoude The Great at the Zelda Headquarters:
(Please remember that this is not me saying the following, but is just a cop of what I recieved)

Okay, I read through it.
I found the fan fiction of rather poor quality, actually. Lana was
originally uninterested romantically in Kristen, but then later they end up
kissing and so forth, but there's very little detail in the reasons why Lana
changes her mind. There was no passion, and no gradual changes of attitudes
to show why Lana lowered her barriar preventing her from dating Kristen: She
just did it in a gradual manner.
As for the claim that Zelda is bi-sexual evidented by her touching Lana (or
was it vice versa? Anyway) on the Captain N show, I find the claim makes a
lot of sense based on that evidence and would be a powerful arguement, but I
don't see any evidence. For all I know, the author is just making this up.
Or perhaps the author is misinterpreting the picture somehow. Because there
was no picture shown, I have nothing to go on his arguement. Yes, pictures
can be faked but words are even easier to fake, and with a picture there
wouldn't be as much room for the reader to doubt the interpretation.

(Now This is me)
I'm not saying that Mark is pushing the romance into too many episodes or that it all is stupid. I'm just saying, it doesn't belong. In my opinion, it just doesn't belong to the story, and really ruins a good part of what the TV show was.
The major diffrence between Star Trek and Captain N is that Captain N is a cartoon, and Star Trek is not. They are mostly aimed at two diffrent audiences. Although I've never seen a bisexual relationship in any of the Star Trek I've watched, I must admit I've seen very little DS9 and Voyager (mostly because they suck so bad (so it wouldn't suprise me)... and no, not even Wolf and a half naked T&A blonde can help them out)
Another thing... Videoland is (supposed) based off of Nintendo games, right? For a company that wouldn't even allow a decent translation of Wolf3D because of the violence, I relly doubt they'd create a character that is bisexual. In fact, I believe the most romance there is in any of their games is a kiss from the princess. Never ear licking (or at least that they show).
And I'm not the best with vocab, but isn't a hypocrite someone who says stuff then doesn't do it them selfs, kinda like the entire practice what you preach thing? How am I a hypocrite?
As I said before, I'm not against bi-sexual relationships, but it just doesn't belong in a cartoon.
