: It will be as if you didn't die. The hits you made will still count if the fairy brings you back to life in the boss' room.

: It varies for each one... usually about 3 or 4 per shape/form, I think.

What waterfall trick? The last time I played Zelda1 was at least 6 years ago. I don't....well I do have my old NES, but it is old and almost never works, and anyway I can't find a copy of either NES game anywhere...
