You get the Level 1 shield from Link's uncle; the Level 2 shield can be gotten from either several stores or a certain fariy; the Level 3 shield is in a dungeon.

The aforementioned fariy has it. (can you swim yet? If so, you might try an old Zelda 1 waterfall trick.)

It goes across the whole screen, so it's an upgrade.

Umm... I'm not sure on that one, but maybe the sword? If not, then I would thinl that the Bow would probably work.
: If I die and a fairy I stored brings me back to life, will my hits carry over, or do I start over again? I mean vs. the bosses.
It will be as if you didn't die. The hits you made will still count if the fairy brings you back to life in the boss' room.
: HOw many hits does it take to kill each boss?
It varies for each one... usually about 3 or 4 per shape/form, I think.
: IS teh final fight vs. Agahnim different from the first fight?
