Does anyone remembers this comic series?

It was a comic series popular 9 years ago. Its main character was a teenager who was able to enter and exit NES games or live in real life situations that reminded NES games, but it was NOT Captain N!
Its title was Video Boy, its main character's name was Brian, he was blond and wore glasses. He could "digitize" himself, becoming Video Boy, a digital superhero with a red costume, black boots and gloves, green glasses and the letters VB written in yellow on his chest.
In Italy, its stories were published on the monthly magazine "Magic Boy", a magazine with comics inspired by Mattel toys (other featured comics were "Captain Hot Wheels", "Masters of the Universe" (and later "He-Man's New Adventures"), "Captain Power" and "Bravestarr".
Am I the only one who knows that character?
