1) The background music when Mother Brain is holding Eggplant wizard by the neck near the beginning of the episode was removed.
- Not removed, just changed
4) When Kevin first falls underground, Loafer is there (in both versions). In Version 1, there is no background when it shows Loafer. It's all white. In Version 2, there is a background (the rocky floor of the cave).
- Yep.
5) In Version 2, when Eggplant Wizard spots Kevin and says "Hey, look! There he is!" the background starts moving all of a sudden. This wasn't in Version 1.
- Yes, it's scrolling because he's still moving in the water. Also, when he says "I've got an idea", it's still in v1
6) In the scene where Eggplant Wizard and King Hippo were chasing Kevin (who was riding a gator) through the swamp, scenes were added, removed, and switched around.
- Yep. The tall gras scene wasn't in v1, and it ends with "I'm gonna scramble your eggplant when I get my gloves on you." In v2, that quote is earlier.
7) King Hippo complaining to Kevin for making him and Eggplant Wizard crash in the swamp was removed.
- That never happened to begin with.
8) In Version 2, Kevin jumps from one area to another in order to escape from the Frog Man. This wasn't in Version 1.
- Yes. He just was far away.
9) Other dialogue was added and removed.
- Yes. Version one really didn't make sense at certain times.
10) There's another point in Version 1 where there's no background.
- Mmm hmm. When the swamp creature is around near the end, it's blank.
Now for some more:
1. The lubrication scene was removed
2. Brinstar's music plays when they chase Duke to the Bayou Warp
3. When Duke runs off, Kevin says: "Duke will you stop chasing things?", but in v1, he continues with: "He's been getting me in trouble doing that ever since he was a pup."
4. Simon never asks Lana about the candlelight dinner
5. When Lana and Simon go to the Bayou, they didn't have the scene where Lana says the Bayou is creepy
6. When Simon is up on the tree, Lana points out dogs don't climb them. In version 1, Simon then goes: "They don't?"
7. The Palace scene where Simon points out that Kevin's feeding the alligators. In version one, it begins with Mega Man's lines and nothing before that.
8. It fades out at the end of v1
9. The crash star is red after Kevin throws it
10. A few of the scenes of Billy training Kevin weren't in v1
11. Billy doesn't knock Kevin out of the boat in v1, it just goes to Mother Brain
12. When Kevin pulls the snake apart in v1, it just makes a gold dot glow instead of disappearing
13. The bird Kevin whips disappears into smoke rather than those squares
14. When Loafer closes in on Kevin, it cuts to Billy saying: "He gets awful indigestion from eatin' strangers"
15. "Huh huh. Must be" isn't in v1
16. "All right you metallic buzzard, give me your best move." isn't in v1
17. The music of the metallic buzzard scene is different
