It seems that the 16 year old knows more about quantum physics and time travel than the 20 year old claims to know.
Consider this. THere's always a chance to keep the universe intact as long as you don't prevent your trip through time. All Shao Khan did in CN64, was shoot kevin, we don't really know for sure that Kevin died, because Mark just had the fireball go, and that was it, it nenver even hit, just, poof. and Mark descriped the paradox wrong. The universe would erase, not burn up.
