2000 Seedings

  1. Cindy-Kathy - have been the hottest team in recent years. Will be tough but to repeat as champs is a tough task.
  2. Shelly-Beth - as usual they will be a strong contender for the title but will need to win the big games which has caused them trouble over the years.
  3. Richard-Bob – had somewhat of a struggle last year but have proven in the past that they are strong rebounders. They are never ever out of a game and are very capable of taking over the Tournament.
  4. Scott-Brian – knocked off Richard-Bob last year so they have a defeated a past champion. Was it a fluke? Maybe. But they are already a legend in their own minds. Actually they are Richard-Bob copy cats with lots of hot air and nothing to back it up with. Decent players but still have a ways to go and 4th seed is probably to high.
  5. Joyce-Debbie - Back for the second time. Joyce already has her name on the trophy and is a well-seasoned player. Debbie has what it takes and now that they have some Tournament experience we expect to see a stronger more confident team this year.
  6. Rosemary-Carlton – Have failed to return to their championship form of a few years ago but at least they have a championship. A new house would be a great place to showcase the trophy and we hear they have a room already dedicated for it.
  7. Kristy-Tiffany – have plenty of Rook Tournament experience but nothing to show for it. A great team to seed right smack in the middle because they not the worst team and for sure not the best. Fun to play against because they will play tough but are beatable.
  8. Kenny-Ashley – Ashley has all the potential to be the next Tiger Woods of the Rook Tournament. Playing with dad is okay for now but when she becomes a free agent she will opt for bigger and better things. Ashley will have to carry this team if they have any chance to make a run for the Trophy.
  9. Lee-Blake – I am not sure what to make of this team. Probably much better than a 9th seed but will need to show it. They wil need to win early to be successful.
  10. Chad-Luke – won their first Tournament game last year and continue to show steady improvement in their game. Could be the next legitimate Richard-Bob power team of the future.
  11. Ben-Kyle – another team looking to improve and gain valuable experience. Another team that has a bright future. Could be a sleeper in the Tournament. Capable of pulling off an upset if not taken seriously.
  12. Richard-Chas – a long shot to win the Tournament but can’t be underestimated.
  13. Kent-Sara – The Texas twosome is very similar to #8 Kenny-Ashley. Sara has a great future but just needs to get some valuable playing time. Kent is just along for the ride and knows that sooner or later Sara will opt for a better partner.
  14. Hap–Andy – Everyone is quite aware of Hap’s troubled Rook Tournament career. Andy will be expected to perform miracles for this team to make a run.
