Seeding
- Sally & Phyllis
Tournaments: 1
1988 Runnerup
Overall: 2-2 .500
Spread: 2-2 .500
The team to beat in 1989. Finished 2nd in the inaugural Tournament to
their two youngest children (Richard & Bob). Known for their intimidating
bids and power play tactics. Sure bet to be in the finals agains.
- Shelly & Beth
Tournaments: 1
1988 3rd Place
Overall: 2-2 .500
Spread: 2-2 .500
Came on strong in the losers bracket last year to finish 3rd. This duo
has played together since childhood and have yet to realize how good
they really are. Possibly the team to beat in the 1990's
- Joyce & Marcella
Tournaments: 1
1988 5th Place
Overall: 1-2 .333
Spread: 1-2 .333
The #1 seed from last year, finished a disappointing 5th but don't let
that fool you. This team is by far the most expierienced and possesses
two of the best to ever play the game. If they want to win, there maybe
no one that can stop them.
- Cindy & Kathy
Tournament: None
Overall: 0-0 .000
Spread: 0-0 .000
This team is together for the first time but both participated in last
year's Tournament. This team is very similar to Shelly & Beth which
will make them a contender. For them to be successful they will need
to win early.
- Rosemary &
Carlton
Tournament: 1 Have Never Placed
Overall: 1-2 .333
Spread: 3-0 1.000
Played everyone to the end in last year's Tournament. Both are all around
excellent game players which is why they are tough. Fifth seed may be
to weak for them.
- Charles &
Maxwell
Tournament: First
Overall: 0-0 .000
Spread: 0-0 .000
This is their first appearance but both are aware of the caliber of
players they will face. Could be a sleeper.
- Lee & Kyle
Tournament: First None
Overall: 0-0 .000
Spread: 0-0 .000
Surprise entry with the unknown partner. We are anxious to see how good
this team from Balm can play in the big time city lights of Anna Maria.
- Elizabeth &
John III
Tournament: First None
Overall: 0-0 .000
Spread: 0-0 .000
First father-daughter team to ever play in the Tournament, Elizabeth
is a definite franchise player of the future and has player-coach-father
to help her reach her potential.

This team has a combined age of 18 and marks the first entry of the
