How to Donate
All donations to the Alaskan Malamute Sanctuary are tax deductible.
We have a number of fundraising projects planned. One extremely popular fundraiser with which many fanciers may be familiar is the Buy-a-Brick campaign. By ordering a brick for the entry of the Sanctuary personalized with your name, your kennel name or the name of a special dog, you can memorialize a significant person or dog in your life while supporting the building of the Sanctuary facility.
Buy-a-Brick Campaign
For a $35 donation to the building fund, you can have your name, your kennel name, the name of a beloved Malamute or whatever you wish engraved on a brick that will become a part of the walkway outside the new Sanctuary facility. It's a great way to honor a friend, promote your kennel, or create a lasting memorial to a special dog. Click here to bring up a printable form you can send with your donation today, and you are on your way to becoming part of Alaskan Malamute history! You may also request to be mailed a copy of the form by clicking here.
Once our facility is a little closer to becoming a reality, we will offer the opportunity to buy a kennel run that will always be identified with your kennel name, with the option to finance the kennel for one year or more. This fundraiser has been popular in other no-kill shelters and is an excellent way to extend the charitable activity of your kennel. Several other ideas also have been proposed, such as buying a panel on the wall to memorialize a special dog or advertise your kennel activity or upcoming events, including specialties, races or weight pulls.
