This would save you of repeating the same work and incidently, save your time. Instead you could use this time for a better Web Page Design.

Well, my personal experience with designing my home page was that during my first one I had to undergo  a lot of research to promote my home page and have utilities. But while designing this home page I did a lot of research by going through a lot many web sites, their designs, etc. This way my time was very effectively used to share this web page with you.

This page does not only give you links to Web Promotion sites but also to many utilities that you could use in your web site, like Counters, CGI Scripts, etc.
