 Hi,
you have entered the domain of Dr Chan Kai Soon, MBBS, MPath, AM.
Although I am a medical doctor (actually a pathologist) by training, I
have a host of other interests some of which are internet related.
You can find stuffs related to pathology, the study of diseases as a basis
of treating the sick. You can also find other serious stuffs like some
lectures or articles written by me. Work aside, I am active in the Perak
branch of the Malaysian Nature Society, with particular interest in taking
videos including those of birds. As a result, I have lots of albums from
my birding trips. The main objectives of creating Kaisoon Online
is to show you these albums. |
| Kai Soon Online is perpetually under construction. I shall be adding more and more contents whenever I could find time in between work, family and bird videography, which is my greatest craze at the moment. |

| 5 Aug 2005 | After a long lull, I finally found some time to add stuffs to my website. The latest album contains pictures from my Kinabalu Park Trip June 2005. The album includes several endemic birds of Sabah and other birds commonly found at Kinabalu.These are the Bornean Mountain Whistler, Chestnut-crested Yuhina, Black-breasted Triller, Bornean Treepie etc. On the way back, a short visit to the Tanjung Aru beach in Kota Kinabalu also yielded an interesting bird, the Blue-nape Parrot. |
| 2 Mar 2006 | A new guest album had been created to post pictures from other birders and digiscopers. Those who wish to show they pictures on the web for identification purposes are welcome to email me their pictures and provide field notes about the birds. |
| 12 Aug 2006 | Some gross pictures of an ileal lymphoma had been added. |
| 26 Oct 2006 | Three photos of the Diard's Trogon were added to the 2006 Photos. |
| 23 Jan 2007 | Due to time constraint, I shall only rarely update this website. However, I shall be adding my photos to the Care2.com photo-sharing website. My 2006 Album is now available at that website. I have also created a new Album for 2007 to add any photos taken this year. |
