| I got back my Swarovski scope, now free of fungus on 22 Mar and was
glad to be able video through the scope again. I had been to the Air Hitam
boardwalk in Sg Dua, Malim Nawar and other places in the short period of
about two weeks.
Here are some videos taken with the scope, and also others taken with
the Kenko 3X tele before the scope was available. The birds taken with
the tele are the malkoha, fantail, snipe and paintedsnipe. These
videos were dark because the tele tend to cause flare and chromatic aberration
using the camcorder zoom. I have to reduce the brightness to hide the flare.
A few shots, for example those of the Chinese Pond Heron, were taken
with the photo mode of the TRV900 and naturally the quality compares quite
well with those of digital cameras.
