Here are some images taken from various areas in May and June. I had not been getting videos of many species during these trips and hence have to combine them into a single album.

Chestnut-tailed MinlaChestnut-tailed Minla, Genting 13 May 2001. A family of these birds were feeding their juvenile at the Telekom hill in Genting. They were often less than 10 feet from Chee Kong, Casey and me. So we had to just use our camcorder to shoot them. No scopes were used.
Silver-breasted BroadbillSilver-breasted BroadbillSilver-breasted Broadbill, Genting 13 May 2001. There were apparently several pairs nesting at the pump house road at that time. However, lighting was poor and it was difficult to get good video.
Collared KingfisherCollared KingfisherCollared Kingfisher, Taman Dr Seenivasagam, Ipoh 16 May 2001. This species is supposed to prefer the coastal habitat but this pair was in an urban park, well away from the sea. The picture on the right had a diffirent color balance as it was in the direct morning sunlight. The other was in the shade.
Black-and-red BroadbillBlack-andred Broadbill, Batu Gajah 20 May 2001. This shy and jumpy bird (and its mate) was feeding near their nest in Batu Gajah. Several other digiscopers shared the same feeling as me - too difficult to get a good shot at it.
Pied FantailPied Fantail, Batu Gajah 20 May 2001.
Black-winged StiltBlack-winged StiltBlack-winged Stilts, Malim Nawar, May 2001. How many legs does the bird on the left has? Why? Look at the other picture for the answer.
Little GrebeLittle Grebe, Kanthan Baru 3 Jun 2001.
Baya WeaverBaya Weaver, Kanthan Baru 2 Jun 2001. This must be an inexperieced male. Look at the untidy nest!
