Welcome to the official web site of the unofficial Wellsville Mountain Ski Patrol!

The Wellsville Mountain Ski Patrol is the "tongue-in-cheek" name for the backcountry ski club started by founding members Tim Watkins and Jason Wooden in 1989. Activities and outings generally consist of huffing and puffing up the face of the Wellsville Range, just to take in the view and catch some well earned turns on the way down. Despite our name, we're NOT trained in rescue or in professional level first aid, but if you need any help ascending these glorious peeks, drop us a line. Besides, if you run into bad luck on the Wellsvilles, just remember to point your skis down the hill and you'll eventually find civilization.
