All of my crafts are made from the finest, all natural products avaliable. I only use real bone pipe and horn bone on my chokers. The beads used are brass, glass, silver plated or stainless. The leather ties or straps are from the softest hides.
Chokers were used to protect the vital neck area during battle and hunting. They proved to be effective against knives, arrows and later powder gun bullets. They were also looked upon as a symbol of status.
I also offer the Personal Medicine Pouch. It can be used to hold anything that has meaning to you. The Native Americans used them to hold herbs, animal charms, and rocks or pebbles they may have found on a vision quest.
