MARY, THE MOTHER OF OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST
Jesus was carried in Mary's womb for nine months. Jesus was born in a stable; the only room found when it was time for Mary to give birth. Jesus, born of the Virgin Mary, was paid homage by the shepherds and the Magi who came bearing Him gifts of gold, frankincense and myrrh. Jesus was cared for from the day of His birth by Mary, His Mother. Jesus was presented at the Temple and dedicated to God by His Mother. Jesus left the Temple and returned home in obedience to His Mother. Jesus performed the Miracle of changing the water into wine at the wedding feast in Cana in obedience to His Mother's request. Jesus loved His Mother enough to look down from the cross as he was dying and put His Mother into the care of His beloved Apostle John. The Pieta is the famous statue of Mary, the Mother of Jesus, holding her son after He has been taken down from the cross. Mary, the Mother of Jesus Christ, is known by many titles but is only one person. Never does Mary crave attention for herself but rather she wants all to focus on her son, Jesus and God His Father. Mary's apparitions have focused on telling us to pray, to ask forgiveness for our sins, to mend our ways and live Christian lives. She has appeared throughout the world and her message has always been: "Do whatever He tells you" "Pray unceasingly" and "Beg forgiveness for your sins and those of the world" <script language=javascript src="http://ss.webring.yahoo.com/navbar?f=j&y=okieprettysister&u=97444696210106458"></script>
