How is hope found? Do you find hope or does hope find you? Hope is eternal. It was never lost and has never left us. Hope is spiritual. It has been a part of humanity since the beginning. It is something only God can provide. It is outside the human realm of creation. Hope has a hard time revealing itself to us because the circumstances that have been imposed on us in our lives keep us from seeing clearly. That's where the enemy wants to keep us.
Certainly, you do not want your enemies to keep you from freedom!! Hope is freedom-wrapped in mercy-revealed in truth and love.
If you believe in God, do you blame Him for the circumstances in your life? I did!!! How could I trust Him to give me hope, freedom, mercy, truth?! How could I trust Him at all? It was a huge step, and I tested Him.
I am able to be here full of love and hope, writing this today because what evil meant for destruction, God has turned into goodness. I am a survivor!! You can be too!!Don't be fooled for a moment. Evil "is" in this world, and to say, 'if God wouldn't let these things happen to innocent people we would be in paradise,' is not truth. God created us to have the capacity to make choices. If He didn't, we would be robots, and for Him to have created robots would not be love. He did create us in love and originally put us in a world of paradise, but the choice was made to allow corruption into life, not by God--by people.
I would not be writing this page today had I not surrendered to the knocking of God on the door of my heart. That is what I am trying to tell you. God urgently wants you to let Him into your life. To guide you into His truth. (Remember, there is only one truth. Truth is not relative or it could not be truth.)
