Juke Summer Gigs 2001
The summer fast approaches, and so does the busiest time yet for Juke. They have a series of gigs booked over the summer to keep you all entertained. Here are the current dates:
Juke are playing in the Front Page with Blind Eye View and Icarus. This is the first night after most peoples exams are over, so you'll all be wanting somewhere to party. Take it from me, there will be no better place to party in Northern Ireland!
This will be Icarus's first gig, and since they describe themselves as "the best band in Belfast" there are many people waiting with baited breath to hear these guys.
Morrisons - Thursday 21st June
Juke are playing at Morrisons with Suki, Vitamin and The Dangerfields.
This could be an interesting gig due to the confusion among the local music scene about what be Morrisons new "pay to play" policy.
Duke of York - Saturday 23rd June
Juke will be playing at the Duke of York on the 23rd June with Panda Kopanda.
Details to be confirmed.
O'Neills Bar- Friday 29th June
Juke will be playing at O'Niells with Whats the Fuzz, Grease Monkey Grande and Grit.
£3 Before 10pm, £4 after 10pm. Doors at 8pm
Summer Madness "Real Music Club"- Monday 2nd July
This year the event has been moved to Belfast due to the Foot and Mouth outbreak. Juke will be playing in the Soul Food Cafe in the Balmoral Hall. They are playing at about 1pm on this Monday.
Details of further gigs are also to be confirmed and updates will appear here as soon as possible.
