Ocherki Khazarskoy Arkheologii

These images are from a book by the Russian Archaeologist Svetlana A. Pletnyova.  The book is an over view of archaeological material of the Khazars from the 8th-10th centuries CE. The captions are roughly translated.

Pic. 14 Warriors' belt fitting sets from the Catacombs of the Dmitrievsky burial, dated by Pletnyeva to the the first half of the 9th century. Pic. 24 Bronze items for hygiene and dress. The items for personal hygiene include: devises for cleaning the ears and nails, tweezers, spoons for applying makeup, handles of the brushs for eyebrow's painting and iron scissors.
