Obscure Villains of the Marvel Universe

There are two elements that I find essential to the success of any MSH game. First, you must have authentic Marvel characters. I know that a lot of people assume the role of established heroes when playing MSHAG, but my players prefer to make their own heroes and I encourage that. In addition to the occasional heroic guest star, I try to use real Marvel villains. Secondly, the element of surprise is a must. Using everyday Marvel villains means that my players know what to expect from them. How to overcome such a predicament? Easy! You find the most obscure, used once and never seen again villains that the Marvel Universe has to offer (and trust me, there's plenty of them). That way, you can produce a comic with the villain in it for the players to see, while still keeping them largely in the dark about the villain's capabilities. Sadly, these villains' obscurity prevents them from being depicted in official roster books. That's where I come in.
