Personality: Manic, threatening. Overestimates his own abilities.
History: Arnold Paffenroth was an accomplished dancer who turned his attention to finances. He did well for himself and amassed a considerable fortune. Unfortunately, he ran afoul of the mafia at some point and they ruined him, leaving him penniless. Paffenroth wandered around California as a vagrant for a while before becoming involved with a mass uprising of the less fortunate. When that didn't work out, he eventually struck out on his own using equipment supplied to him by a mysterious group called the Commitee. As Tatterdemalion, Paffenroth served with Shroud's Night Shift for a while, but now seems to be an independant operator again.

Using Tatterdemalion in Your Game: Any hero with a wealthy alter ego could find his social events disrupted by the Tatterdemalion. Defeating him without using any powers would be a difficult challenge.
