This mystical artifact adds +4 to the weilder's Magic rating and, when placed upon the throat, attaches to the skin and allows the wielder to transform into a werewolf-type creature with +5 to Strength and Agility as well as +2 Claws and Teeth. However, if the weilder is not a magic-user, the transformation is uncontrolled and causes the weilder to devolve into a bestial state.

History: Dredmund is a student of the Druidic arts, centering on Hypnosis and mystical transformations. He and his assistants Moonhunter and Nightshade took over a small town in Pennsylvania, transforming the populace into werecreatures with a combination of science and magic. Furthermore, Dredmund employed John Jameson to steal the Moongem that had once transformed him into the Man-Wolf. Dredmund used the stone first to increase his mystical abilities, then later to transform him into Starwolf, a magically-infused wolf man. However, Dredmund and his minions were defeated by Captain America and Doctor Druid, who transformed the populace back to normal.

Using Dredmund in Your Game: Dredmund is a respectable threat in the mystical area. His plots center on establishing a covert yet solid power base and expanding rapidly from there.
