Traralgon

Traralgon is a city of around 20,000 people, located in the LaTrobe Valley, 162km south-east of Melbourne on Princes Highway (M1). Pulp and paper and electricity are the cities main industries. Loy Yang Power Complex was completed in 1984 after the discovery of brown coal. It supplies about 40% of Victoria's power. The town centre is quite attractive, and is spread across a few streets.
