Morwell

Morwell is a large industrial centre between Moe and Traralgon in the LaTrobe Valley, 148km east of Melbourne. The city. It has a population of around 17,000, and electricity and coal mining are the towns major industries. The surrounding power stations supply Melbourne and Victoria with power. The town centre is divided by the railway line, but is quite attractive.
