Marysville
Located just off Maroondah Highway, 96km north-east of Melbourne, Marysville is a sub-alpine town of around 600 people, surrounded by thick forests. It is also a base for skiers at Lake Mountain. In autumn, the streets are lined with golden and red trees. The town also features old timber guesthouses.
