Koo Wee Rup

Koo Wee Rup is a town of around 1,000, located just north of South Gippsland Highway, 75km south-east of Melbourne. The surrounding farmland is best known for its asparagus and potato growing, as well as dairying. This farmland was once a large swamp and since being converted into a series of irrigation channels the farmland is very fertile.
