Jamieson

Jamieson is a small town in a densely covered valley at the junction of Goulburn and Jamieson Rivers, 199km north-east of Melbourne. It has a population of around 250. The town began as a goldmining town but now is a base for visitors to Lake Eildon and the surrounding forest. Besides the road from Mansfield, the other main roads surrounding the town are unsealed and can be very rough.
