Great Western

Located 220km north-west of Melbourne of Western Highway (A8) between Ararat and Stawell, this township is famous for its wineries. The town actually begun as a winery by two Frenchmen. In 1865 the Best brothers started up their own wineries. Both are still operarional and one is the famous Seppelt's Winery.
