Colac
Colac is a city of over 10,000 people, located 150km south-west of Melbourne on Princes Highway (A1). The city sits at the eastern edge of the world's third largest volcanic plain, and is on the banks of Lake Colac. The town centre is quite attractive, with the Memorial Square in the centre of town. Nearby Lake Corangamite is the largest lake in Victoria and is three times saltier than sea water.
