Broadford

Broadford is 72km north of Melbourne on the old Hume Highway. The town of around 2,000 people services the surrounding sheep and cattle district. The town has a country music festival each Februrary. South of the town is Mt Disappointment State Forest, which features Murchison Falls. The town has long been bypassed by Hume Freeway.
