Physically disabled persons have a word for us who are not physically disabled: "tab". It's an acronym for "temporarily able bodied". It's "temporary", because this fortunate state can change in an instant:
- hitting bottom in a swimming pool
- car crash
- a fall at home or elsewhere
- an assault
- etc.
You prepare for your retirement. Why don't you prepare for your possible transformation from tab to disab?
Meanwhile (or nicewhile), why not come down off your tabhorse and show some compassionate courteoustism
to those less fortunate? (Esther's Tips.)
