MATHEMATICS is concerned with PATTERNS. And the "heart" of MATHEMATICS is expressed by the homology (PL):

The algorithm is a tactic for mathematics. But, "translated", it can become a strategy for LIFE. And a strategy, further "translated", can become a prosthetic for the "thinking reed", as mathematician and philosopher, Blaise Pascal (1623-62), labeled the typically hapless born-nekkid human.
