The subgroups of a finite group form a MODULAR LATTICE since the IDENTITY ELEMENT is a "favored element" and must be included in any subsystem.
Does this mean that any PHYSICAL PROPERTY obeying a CONSERVATION LAW has a PHYSICAL FAVORED ELEMENT? (A polar axis is a FAVORED ELEMENT of a light wave.)
