Sean was born in Oil City, PA and has maintained a permanent residence there all of his life.

Growing up he was active in Scouting, obtaining the rank of Eagle and worked as a Camp Counselor at Singing Hills Girls Scout Camp for several years. Also, he was active in The Oilier Marching Band serving as the Band Manager for seven years.

He has always been active in the theater, performing for the first time on stage when he was 5 years old in The Oakland Elementary School's production of "The Sweet Shop." Since then he has appeared in or worked on several musicals and stage productions working with a variety of theatrical companies, which include; The Pitt Players at Titusville, The Franklin Civic, The Pittsburgh Public Theater, The Ashland University Players, The Solothurner English Theater, The Berner English Theater, and The Oil City High School Theater.

After graduating from high school, he spent a year as an American Field Service Exchange Student in Switzerland, attending the Kantonschuler there. Upon his return to the US, he enlisted in the Navy. He served three years, and was awarded an Honorable Discharge under Medical Conditions.

Sean returned to Pennsylvania to attend college. In the course of the next four years, he attended The University of Pittsburgh at Titusville, The Art Institute of Pittsburgh, and Ashland University. He graduated from The Art Institute with an Associate's Degree in Industrial Design Technology and from Ashland University with a Bachelor of Science in Commercial Art.

For most of his life, Sean has been a student of local history, learning from his Grandparents, their friends, and other local historians. In 1994, he combined his talent in the art of reproduction with his love of history to establish a local reproduction house, Greycloud Studios. This studio produces museum quality reproductions for historical reenactors. Currently, its international client list includes people who recreate many periods of history including but not limited to: Mediaeval Europe, Renaissance Europe, The Spanish Main, The American Revolution, The French & Indian War, The Civil War, The Great Mongol Horde, The American Old West, and The Fantasy Gaming Genres associated with these eras.

Sean is a skilled Storyteller. His repertoire includes tales from the Celtic-Irish Tradition, local Pennsylvania Lore, the Great Oil Boom of the late 1800's, and a selection of tales to curl the toes in the middle of night. He has performed this craft at The Pittsburgh Renaissance Festival, The Old Mill Festival, American Folkways Festival, and First Night Oil City to name but a few.

He also works with the Venango Museum of Art, Science, and Industry. This work includes being a tour guide for the museum and a cast and crew member of Oil on the Brain, a one hour period show that details the history of the Pennsylvania Oil Region.
