The above definition comes from Webster's Ninth
New Collegiate Dictionary. Howe'er, if you were to
look further you would soon discover that this
simple sentence, while being true to fact, leaves
much to be desired.
The Jongleur of old was much more than a simple
Juggler or Conjurer, those being two of the modern
terms derived from Jongleur. They were
craftspeople, storytellers, news carriers,
performers, bards, minstrels, and much more
besides. Mayhap, the best way to describe a
Jongleur would be as a "Professional Performing
Craftsperson," a term I oft use for myself.
All this leads one to ask, why be it that I choose
to call myself thus. Well, for starters I am a
"Professional Performing Craftsperson," and while
I do not live on the road, I do travel much for my
work. If you want to see the craftsperson side to
my life check out

Howe'er, if you're here as I suspect to learn
about the performing side of my life then
"...approach and know me
better..."
