(HUSFELD) Zinkan, born in Germany and died in this country in 1875 and 1884, at the age of seventy-two and seventy years respectively. Our subject was reared near Washington, and resided with his parents until twenty-one years of age, when he married Mary, daughter of John and Mary CORCORAN...

Baptismal Certificate. Extract from the baptismal book of the Catholic parish of Herolz of the diocese of Fulda, 14 April 1833, page 109.
In 1804 on the 23rd day of August at 1am, Philip Zinkand was born and baptized. He is the legitimate son of Andrew Zinkand living in Herolz and Anna Maria Fladung living in the same place. To which I attach my hand and parish seal. (Seal) 14 April 1833. (Signed) C. Hodes, parish priest.
