This story begins with a airplane crash. The
plane is carrying a man, his wife, their infant, and the pilot. After the
crash only the infant is rescued. After learning what has happened to the
remaining members of the party, Tarzan and Jane keep the boy and raise
him as their own. Tarzan insists on calling him "Boy". Five years later
a search party comes looking for evidence of what has happened to the family
on board the plane, but some members of the search party are looking for
selfish reasons therefore are not overjoyed to find the boy alive. But
hiding their bickering and motives from Jane, they convince her that it
is best for the boy to return to civilization with them. By the time she
learns the truth of their plans it is almost too late, and it is left up
to Boy to go back alone and get Tarzan so that he my rescue Jane.
