A hunting party looking for animals for zoos get permission from the king of the area across the river from Tarzan to capture one male and one female of each species. Tarzan, of course will not let them capture anything on his side of the river. However, the nephew of the king makes a deal with the hunting party to let them capture as many as they want as long as they pay him for each animal. Little do they know that his plan includes the "accidental" shooting of his uncle the king and possibly the king's son so that he can become king. The nephew's plan seems to be going well until Tarzan learns that they are capturing so many animals and calls all the animals to his side of the river. The hunters ignore Tarzan's warning and cross the river after the animals. This brings them into direct conflict with Tarzan, which, of course, they can not win.
