Hallie is an eleven year old girl from
California who grew up with her father but never knew her mother. Annie
is an eleven year old girl from London who grew up with her mother and
never knew her father. When the two meet at summer camp it is obvious that
they look a lot alike, but they also become instant rivals. Their revelry
gets out of hand and soon they are sent to the isolation cabin. Once they
settle down enough to be civil with each other they learn that despite
their differences they actually have a lot in common, including their parents
--- they're identical twins! They soon come up with a plan to switch places
and go home to the other's home at the end of the summer so they can meet
the parent they do not know. They also hope to get their parents back together
and have the family they've always wished for! Things quickly go wrong
when their father announces that he plans to marry Meredith in two weeks.
This is more than just a problem with their plans to get their parents
together again, it is obvious to everyone except their father that Meredith
is only after his money.
This movie was charming, delightful,
and just plan fun. And even though it had nothing to do with anything else
in the movie, I liked the little twist added by Michael Lohan's (Lindsay
Lohan's brother) role. It was different.

There is one supposedly nude scene in this movie when one of the twins jumps in the lake at night nude, but it is dark and back lit I am not even sure the girl was really nude.
