20th September: Updating stuff
Revision, exams, work, university, it all gets in the way of riding.
Luckily I made it to London for a 5 year course and have time to update the site. First up is a page of newly-in photos of random drunken times. There's the DVD (and MBUK) review below, and there's some more stuff in 'My Words'
|
|
|
My last MBUK, and finally something descent as an extra (excusing the boost of course).
So whats on it... Well, there's the Lake Jump and rider biographies, World Cup action and some Dual/Duel - and its all free.
|
|
|
Check it out on the Extreme channel. A load of riders touring and riding/
I've seen the first few episodes and was impressed. Lots of great biking and amazing locations. And some good music too. Be sure to check out their site and to catch it on the telly.

Pieter de Hart has broken the world record for the greatest distance travelled backwards in one hour - 29.1km.
An average speed of 8 metres per second, I reckon I could beat it.
|
|
|
The summer is here, so go ride those dusty trails, if you don't have any
go build them instead. Get a shovel and some mates, go dig, its fun.
Why not compete, there's races for all abilities and categories.
Check out the sites listed on the races page for further info.
|
|
|
Check out what we got up to... I'm exhausted.
After those exams, me and the boys took a week off. It might have been a caravan park but I think we made the most of it. Want to know how to get seagulls drunk? - Take a look

10th July: August MBUK - Very first impressions.
Free Race Face chain guard and free Boost. Yay.
Whats in there: Part of a forum thread I posted in - I am right I tell you.
Tits on page 112. Cool-looking Mint Sauce. Impressive riding and photos throughout. Mag appears more filled out, better than July issue.

16th June: Damn exams
No updates as yet, until I've completed my A-Levels. So amuse yourselves.
Joek.com - not my site, but it entertains me.
Lowbrow.com - not really that low brow - hit reload for a new one.

Some guy drank most of a bottle of whisky. Thats him on the left.
Stephen didn't fair much better, a stomach pump wasn't required...
Played American football, drank lots, had music going. All good.
Also, photos from Homelands, that dance festival.

Ever wanted to take off a huge ramp, landing in a lake? I Have!
The Siemens mobile X-Lake jump takes place on 30th May in Fort William. Check out their flash and mtb news site covering such events.

"A look at this Volatile Visions production.
The intro was quite stylish with variation of speed, changing from fast to slow, depending on the action. Nice flare effects if your a fan.."
|
|
|
My view of the latest publication.
"How many people does it take to put together an issue of MBUK?.... About 50. This month they did a pretty good job. On flicking through, there's a large variety of article and reviews"...

8th May: Ashley breaks his ankle
Recently at an National downhill race, Ashley couldn't compete.
The ankle, which is now in cast was broken in his first practice run.
He told me he was trying to clear a quad to save time, when he landed hard on the upslope. He's recovering well and should be racing soon.

3rd May: Info on sponsorship
Matt leaves Team SDR, Ashley joins. More info on the SDR site
Matt got tired of racing downhil, so has put competing aside apart from the odd race. He's quite happy though as he got free stuff from the deal.
Ashley's pleased he got the call and looks forward to sponsorship.

First of all hope you had a good Easter
My view of the new Muddy fox ad, and about how a recent field party went.
Also some other stuff hopefully.

22nd April: The Bike Show
Its this weekend, Friday 25th - Sunday 27th.
Highlights: Dave Mirra, BSX, test track, stalls, free stuff, trials, flatland and more. One question remains - which day will be best?

|

Just my opinion
XC on the front cover? You better believe it; a review of the Lake District. But there's still all the usual in jumping, freeride, trials and downhill
|
|
|
Summing up what we've been doin' recently.
Photos of Jack and Steve's new bikes, upcoming events, Matt's mistake, BBQs, drinking games. Come read.
|
|
|
End of term parties usually give rise to these photos.
Some trampolining, some photos from Slinkys, all sorts of random stuff too, i.e the llamas on the left.

Sky channel 422. So what's on offer.
I highlight the programmes to look out for and what you can expect from the only extreme sports channel there is.

More partying and drinking. Hey, we can't ride all the time.
Photos from the water meadows, and recent nights on the town.
