Hooray its Freshers week, so basically getting drunk with new people. You know when you go to University your room is really small, but when I arrived I found I had the biggest room in the flat. Luckily I got the apartment with en-suite and mini-fridge so its all good.

I spoke to Ashley the other day and he has some news he's gonna email me about some of his recent road-trips. Here's a snippet: He went to France with some other downhillers getting drunk each night and even being thrown out of the hotel for being too noisy. But one night he's in a town on his bike when some guy comes over and says the usual "hey, nice bike etc" before the inevitable "can I have a go". Unbelievably Ashley said yes and promptly had his bike nicked as the guy ode off on it. However the next night, Ashley recognises the same guy in a pub or bar so phones the police, who talk to him. The next morning both Ashley and the thieving bastard go into the station and he's brought the bike with him to return it. So a happy ending.

Coming soon - photos of pub roof jumping. And no we don't get inspiration from the art of "free running" we just get drunk and decide to climb onto rooves for some fun. Yes its dangerous but then its better than staying inside.
