History of our riding
I first got introduced to REAL mountain biking a few years ago, practicing techniques at my local golf course with some friends. Later on, I got a Careera Kraken and started to hone my skills. The suspension wasn't great so I learned to ride smoother to make up for it. We soon made a load of jumps along a stretch of nearby land, close to the golf course. However, to be honest, they were small.
Around about then we started trying other forms of mountain biking and before we knew it we were into trials.
Year 2000 and I saved up a loada money and purchased a brand new Santa Cruz Chameleon. From then on, I combined my smooth ability and started practicing all the different disciplines. By this time we'd found many other riders with the same interests as us. From here, we started exploring the city's surrounding countryside. We then found many DH tracks and built our own with all the berms and jumps dug with our own hands and spades.
Today we practice all our different skills and disciplines at different times, often decided by the weather.
