The June MBUK
How many people does it take to put together an issue of MBUK? … About 50. This month they did a pretty good job. On flicking through, there's a large variety of article and reviews. All the latest on events and even new adverts for interest. If you're wondering where Mint Sauce is, don't worry its just after the letters section.
The MBUK photographic team have improved again with some really good shots, perhaps when going over the new style, they wanted a closer comparison with Dirt. Look out for the interchanging between double page photos and then really small square ones. It all adds to the slight obscurity of the magazine that helps give it an `edge' or `attitude'. Not fully my style but its OK.
Any negative points this month? Not really, still too many adverts but that ain't gonna change.
Things to look out for in the mag this month:
Free `Universal galvanised gear wire'
A nice article on Fort William - Pages 10-17.
A new ad from Oakley showing a huge Brian Lopes jump - pages 72-73.
A very insightful article on various riders over time - pages 123-130.
A descent article on snow riding in the French Alps - pages 200-206.
