[NI12241] Volunteered in 1778 in Revolutionary War, and served at Fort Edward. In 1779 he was in Capt. Henry Vanderhoof's company to garrison the fort. He subsequently served under Capt. Silas Gray and received his discharge from Col. John McKinstry. In 1832 his pension was allowed as a private, New York line.
