His lots fell on the east side of East River, in what was first called North Farms, afterward Parish of North Haven, and in 1786 became the town of North Haven. On 18 Nov 1679, William Paine of New Haven deeded to his son-in-law, Thomas Sanford of New Haven, "as part portion of my daughter Elizabeth, the house and home lot he now lives on."

[NI12310] Also called Barent V. Sisco. In his will, dated 4 Jan 1775, proved 13 Jun 1781, he calls himself Barent Francisco, of Morris County. Baurent Francisco and John Francisco are included in the list of freeholders of Morris County from the Township of Preakness dated 31 Aug 1752. In the Essex County Court Files for 15 Jun 1767 he is given a judgement against Nathaniel Pierson in a suit of trespass.
